For this Upper East Side #NYC apartment we tied in both modern and traditional elements to achieve our client’s Kitchen and Bathroom renovation goals. In the kitchen we kept a wall of exposed brick, a unique feature (common to New York City apartments) that adds to the natural beauty of this transitional kitchen. To amplify their kitchen space we performed a partial wall removal and converted a nearby closet into a nook to house their refrigerator. Exposed brick walls are an evergreen trend in New York City home design, and incorporating them properly into your kitchen renovation can result in the execution of a beautiful transitional style. For the bathroom we installed medium sized tiles from Porcenalosa, for the floor we installed small tiles in hexagon shapes for a very modern classic look. How do you organize your shower products?
