East 9th Street – Bathroom Remodeling

Design & Layout:
Our design team reimagined the small bathroom layout to maximize both space and light. A new walk-in shower with glass partitions and matte-black framing adds structure and a sleek industrial touch. White subway tiles with a subtle sheen were installed on all shower walls, paired with contrasting dark grout color to highlight the clean lines and elevate the modern aesthetic.

Plumbing & Fixtures:
All plumbing lines were updated for efficiency and longevity. Luxury gold fixtures—including a dual rain-shower system, exposed brass valves, and a matching console sink—add warmth and a timeless, elegant contrast against the crisp white tile.

Tile & Flooring:
The walls feature classic white tiles accented with a distinct grout color that defines each line for visual depth. The shower floor uses matte black hexagonal tiles for slip resistance and contrast, creating a balanced mix of modern and traditional finishes that suits NYC’s high-end apartment style.

Lighting & Electrical:
A combination of overhead recessed lighting and a brass wall sconce provides both ambient and task illumination. LED strip lighting was integrated into the shower niche for a soft, refined glow—perfect for highlighting the sleek tile work and brass finishes.

Carpentry & Storage:
Custom recessed shelving was added to optimize vertical storage without compromising the open layout. Floating shelves and integrated mirrors help maintain the light, airy feel of the space while providing practical storage for everyday essentials.

Finishing Touches:
Every detail—from the painted teal accent wall to the gold trim on outlets and shelves—was chosen to complement the refined tone of the bathroom. The combination of rich color, clean tile lines, and bold metallics creates a unique design statement that reflects the quality and craftsmanship of bathroom remodeling NYC projects executed by NYKB.
