This Greenwich Village apartment remodeling project brings together clean lines, practical storage, and a restrained palette of white, gray, and natural wood. The kitchen and bathroom share a contemporary feel, with finishes that give each space its own character.
A Streamlined Galley Kitchen
The kitchen pairs glossy white upper cabinets with gray lower cabinetry, creating a bright, balanced look within the narrow footprint. Minimal cabinet hardware keeps the design uncluttered, while wood flooring adds warmth.
The project selections specify 2 cm Airy Concrete stone for the countertops and backsplash. Its subtle concrete-inspired finish complements the cabinetry and stainless steel appliances without overwhelming the space. A BLANCO Artona faucet adds a curved detail against the kitchen’s straight lines.
A Modern Bathroom With Thoughtful Details
White marble-look wall tile with gray veining gives the bathroom a continuous, spacious appearance. Dark shower-floor mosaic provides contrast, while a glass shower enclosure keeps the room visually open.
A wall-mounted Duravit Happy D.2 Plus vanity offers storage beneath a compact basin. The GRAFF Sento wall-mounted faucet leaves the sink area clear, and a recessed Robern medicine cabinet adds storage above it.
Inside the shower, a rainfall showerhead, handheld fixture, and recessed niche bring everyday convenience. Lighting along the ceiling and above the mirror highlights the tile and completes the room.
A Cohesive Apartment Interior
The kitchen and bathroom demonstrate how a consistent palette can connect different spaces without making them identical. Glossy cabinetry and concrete-inspired stone define the kitchen, while veined tile and dark fixtures give the bathroom a more dramatic finish.
Together, these details create a clean, coordinated direction for this Greenwich Village full home remodeling project.
