Fun recipes to do with dad for Father’s Day

All those little things and moments are the most valuable. Even if you have no idea what to do on Father’s Day or don’t have a large budget, you can still make a true impact. Just spending time with each other is more than enough. Whether it’s enjoying these simple recipes or going to an amusement park.

BERRY ICE POPS

Ingredients

1 cup frozen organic strawberries

1 cup frozen organic blueberries

¼ cup mixed fresh organic berry juice, apple juice or orange juice

2 tablespoons organic honey

½ organic juiced lemon

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender
  2. Put mixture in popsicle molds
  3. Stick it in the freezer for a few hours or overnight, until they are completely hard & enjoy!

 

GAME DAY NACHOS

Ingredients

1 bag organic tortilla chips

1 medium sized organic onion

1/2 cup of organic black olives

1 cup organic pepper jack

1 cup organic cheddar

¾ cup of organic meat of choice

1 tbsp organic paprika

1 tbsp organic garlic powder

1 tbsp organic cumin

Organic salt & pepper to taste

Sauce of choice

Guacamole or sour cream

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350F°
  2. Slice your meat of choice into bite-size pieces
  3. Mix the meat with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin until evenly coated
  4. Heat oil in a pan over very high heat, until it sizzles caramelize your onion then remove onions to the side and fry each piece of meat for 30 seconds on each side
  5. In a large pan put half of the tortilla chips, then on top of that your meat, onions, black olives, pepper jack, and cheddar (repeat with the remaining ingredients)
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese melts
  7. Garnish with either guacamole or sour cream and add whatever sauce you’d like, & enjoy!

 

MEATBALLS

Ingredients

1 lb. of organic ground beef

1 medium sized diced organic onion

5 cloves of organic minced garlic

1 organic egg

4 tbsp organic olive oil

2 tbsp organic salt

1 tbsp organic cumin

2 tsp organic pepper

5 tbsp of organic grated tomatoes

3 cups of hot boiling water

1 tbsp of organic honey or date syrup

Steps

  1. Grind the beef with the 5 garlic cloves, onion, 1 tbsp olive oil, egg, 1 tbsp salt, 1tbsp cumin and 1 tsp pepper and make balls
  2. Heat a wide pan with 2 tablespoons of oil, and fry balls on medium-high heat for 2 minutes from each side. Place to the side on a paper towel
  3. Put the meatballs on baking paper, brush or spray them with oil and bake in a pre-heated oven for 190 degrees for 15 minutes. At the same time heat up a pot with 1 tsp olive oil, 1 garlic clove, water, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tsp pepper, 1 tbsp honey or date syrup and graded tomatoes. Add the meatballs to the sauce mix gently so that the sauce covers the meatballs,cover and let cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, enjoy!

 

 

GLUTEN-FREE PANCAKES

Ingredients

1 organic banana

2 organic eggs

1/2 cups of organic unsweetened almond milk

2 tsp organic baking powder

1 teaspoon organic Vanilla

1 1/2 cups organic Oats

2 tbsp organic honey

Pinch of salt

1 tsp olive oil

Steps

  1. Mix the, Almond Milk, eggs, banana, honey, vanilla, oats, baking powder and salt in blender until smooth
  2. Heat pan with olive oil over medium heat and pour pancake batter into pan in round circles
  3. Cook for 1-3 minutes on each side
  4. Drizzle and add toppings of choice, enjoy!
