NYKB Builds New York City's Coolest Upscale Soul Kitchen
NYKB executes owner's master design to hit all the right notes at Tillman's in Chelsea.
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 20, 2007 -- Tillman's is located in New York's exclusive Chelsea neighborhood and is the perfect setting for an evening drink. Proprietor Bernard is serving sophisticates late night cocktails and eats in a sublime interior he designed himself. To build his designs Bernard wasted no time in calling NYKB (New York Kitchen & Bath), New York's kitchen and bath masters.
Work began at the bar. Bernard deftly installed a system of indirect lighting that softly illuminates the bar space, thus letting light play off of bar mirrors and glass shelves. The result? Pleasing shards of subdued sparkle as a backdrop for a nice drink.
The establishment is divided into two rooms which are partitioned with glass. This allows night owls to have a few while enjoying a larger sense of place; all without having to be in a big room.
NYKB is a renowned one-stop remodeling firm, popular with busy New Yorkers who do not have the time to micromanage whole renovations on their apartments or brownstones. The word-of-mouth buzz that NYKB enjoys stems from years of the repeated demonstration of mastery in all phases of renovation.
This success has been garnered one dwelling at a time, but by no means is NYKB limited to the bathroom, kitchen, or even residence. This project serves as a public showcase for NYKB's workmanship.
And speaking of bathrooms, Bernard installed vessel sinks for a unique and elegant touch in the establishment's restrooms. Quality sound-proofing serves to make these restrooms a respite from the lounge.
Bernard meets the challenge of creating privacy without isolation through ample use of "S" shaped banquettes. This comfortable seating appears to be built in, but, in fact, is movable. This way space can be made for the live music acts, for which Tillman's is known, or for the accommodation of private parties.
Go to Tillman's and admire Bernard's design with a drink, some cool music, and delightful food.
